Hey. I don't really know what to say. I'm a sixteen year old girl, who has been on a boat since I was 7 days old. Sailing is part of me. When my family decided we were taking a year ad a half trip to belieze, at first I was excited. Then it was like I was being seperated into two parts. I wanted to stay home with my friends and house. I also wanted to cease the day and have all the adventures I could. Because I want to live life to the fullest. Now as we are saying goodbye to my friends and leaving, it doesn't seem real. We can't be going away for almost 2 years, I mean when we come back  I will be 18. It blows my mind.

Week one and two

Well with unexpected weather we are behind. We had to stay a week in Newport, RI due to gales but, it turned out to be a blessing because my mother got to see her mother before she passed away (2 days afterward). The boat is now in New York while, we go to the funeral. We went into New York city yesterday. It was soooo much fun! Such a fascinating place :) I want to go to college there :)

Loving the south! Warm and gorgeous! We are doing an over night (sailing 24 hours straight in open ocean) to Charelston,SC. I'm super excited but, reallllyyyyy nervous! I have done an overnight before but, this is the first with my family. Hoping all goes well! If it does we will do another to St. Marys, Georgia for Thanksgiving!
So hey we are in the Bahamas with this amazing chick named Mary and i'm having the time of my life :)
