12/11/10 ( Below)This is a picture of my sister Rachel and I. I had just lost another tooth. Above is a picture of my birthday ( Nov 18th) on the boat. I got pirate tattoos and the whole family put them on. Yesterday we went to Loxahatchee Everglades Wildlife Refuge and learned about the Everglades and why they are important. I saw an alligator and found what we think are two scapula bones from an alligator- but my mom would not let me take them home. We saw lots of cool Alligators and birds at the Alligator Farm in St Augustine a few weeks ago.
I am visiting with my grandpa now in Fla at his apartment. We will celebrate his 86th birthday tomorrow. Our boat is in Vero Beach, and we will go back next week, head south to Miami and then over to the Bahamas. We have met other kids on boats, some from Ireland, one from Vermont, and some from the State of Washington. ( see picture page. Happy Holidays everyone!
Hello everyone! Our boat is in Staten Island New York. We went by the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We visited New York City. We also visited Newport Rhode Island. I sat in the same seat as George Washington at Trinity Church in Newport.( see picture) We have had some very rough seas. I have to stay below. Sometime I get to drive the boat., We visited Washington D.C and saw the Capitol building.
